It always happens, when there's a power switch. The same message, the same promise. But it's never fulfilled. I've stopped listening to it. It doesn't matter how much or how little has changed. One day, I'll go home and there will be no rhyme or reason to it.

I think we all know by now we're simply here for someone's enjoyment and sent home when we were no longer of interest.

All I seem to be doing lately is waiting for the next person to be sent home. Although I suppose I should be looking for a new bookkeeper and decide who should fill the other position.

So, exploring the temple = bad idea, it seems. Not that navigating something like that would be a good idea for me right now, anyway. I am curious as to what lies in there, but... it isn't something I'm willing to risk. Especially so soon after taking care of my other problem.

Anyway, I may try to come back in to the shop today. This will be interesting...

Even though he's still kinda tired and draggy, Maku will be leaving a note for Watanuki to meet him someplace on the lower level (since they can't really get to their rooftop with the rain). It's tacked to the inside of Wata's room so he'll see it.
